For me the most desired collection for A/W has got to be Balmain's striking, electric and exceedingly glamours creations. But doesn't the collection look familiar? I wonder if creative director Christophe Decarnin took inspiration from the one and only Mr Jackson? It's fairly easy answer to me....YES! Punky looking models strutted down the runway with a rock'a'bility swagger. Adopting the 80's trend of 90/10 but with a modern and more architectural flavor with lashings of Swarovski crystals and sequins!! The only down fall with this collection is the price tag! In order for you to swagger on the corner you have to be Beyonce and Jay-Z rich!! Starting at whopping £3,000!!! But the don't worry ladies our saviour that is the High Street has marvelous examples at 'normal' prices.
